Kevin Johnston is both an award winning director and an accomplished producer/writer. A natural connector with an easygoing approachability, Kevin thrived in the advertising industry- first as a commercial director’s rep for top feature film and television directors; next as executive producer and production company head, and finally as a director himself, helming spots for a wide range of clients including cars, cameras, and crackers.
Always one with the vision to spot a trend in the making, Kevin has been among the first to incorporate computer animation, the Internet and currently the movement for brand messaging that bridges content and entertainment. Kevin was tapped by Euro RSCG for one of the most effective long form entertainment projects of 2006 –Volvo’s international treasure hunt for their Disney’s Pirates of the Caribbean sponsorship. He continues to work for visionary agencies on behalf of clients exploring the rich opportunities in content beyond the :30 spot.
Kevin lives in Brooklyn, is a gourmet cook, and is in development on his first full length feature film.
